March 2020, 29 : a new free guitar cabinet impulse responses collection is available. IRs were created with a Mesa Recto 212 cab loaded with Celestion® Vintage 30’s. This cab is often considered as one of the best cabs for metal tone.

This IR collection includes 19 files, for 4 microphones : E906, SM57, SM58 and PR20.

These IRs were created by using a 6L6 power amp section and a tube microphone preamp.

A few chug used as samples to get an overview of these IRs, done with a Mercuriall U530 plugin.
