CAB and mics
The guitar cabinet used for this collection is a German ported 112 CAB, front-loaded with a T75 speaker (8 ohms), made in China. This collection is captured with a CLASS D power amp, with flat/neutral settings. This collection is more balanced and neutral compared to the KT88 version (you can access this collection here).
- Check the IR positions explanation here (microphone placement) : https://overdriven.fr/overdriven/index.php/irdownloads/ and here : https://overdriven.fr/overdriven/index.php/2020/07/30/home-studio-upgrade-and-2nd-gen-irs/
- The preamp used is the “Solid State preamp 1”
- German 112 cabinet front-loaded
- Capture based on a Celestion® G12-T75 8 ohms speaker
- The T75 has less extension in the upper register and peaks sooner than the V30 : it does not have the harhsness V30 can have. This can be very helpful to avoid harshness, fizz and annoying artefacts with digital multi-effects.
- 1 ribbon mic, 4 dynamic mics
- 59 IR files in WAV 44 kHz format, 32 bits, 50 ms
- 5 microphones :
- DYN-57
- DYN-US-6
- RBN-CN-2
- DYN-US-8
- DYN-906
- Recorded in home studio conditions
- Recorded with a class D power amp section only (flat settings)
Samples
Will be added soon

Ah yes, AJFA (and possibly MoP, which i think doesn’t sound like G12-65)
