Kemper released a new version of the Kemper Profiler OS (12.1.2) and Rig Manager with new features for the Kemper Player, for all versions (L1, L2, L3).

This updates brings new capabilities to the Kemper Player and offers also additional effects to the entry level L1 Player.

New capabilities include using the main XLR output as a stereo out (balanced mono to 2x unbalanced stereo output : you will need an XLR mono to stereo jack cable) : you can now send stereo out on the main XLR as well as use the stereo output jacks for additional routing (connected to an amp or to a Kemper cab for example).

Two output equalizers have been added : they are very welcome to perform tone adjustments in a specific context without touching your Rigs settings (say you plug to a bassy sound system and want to adjust globally the output of your Player). These 2 equalizers are available on the main output and the monitor out:

Main out global EQ with presence, low cut and high cut
Monitor out EQ

New effects are also made available in the entry level edition of the player : the Mouse, the Full OC and the Metal DS are now part of the basic package.

And lastly -regarding effects- the Morphing feature is made available to the L1 Player :

On the Rig Manager side, the latest version made available (3.9.14) now displays the effects used in the original Rig for Kemper Player users : that is a very welcome feature, as Kemper Player users can now check the original configuration of a Rig and better adjust their rig configuration. For instance, you can see which OD was used in the original Rig and -in case you are a Level I user- drop a replacement one if the original OD is not part of the L1 available effects….
