CAB and mics

The guitar cabinet on which this collection is based on is a 2×12 Marshall® 1936 vintage cabinet loaded with two Celestion®  Greenback G12-H / 55 hz speakers. 

This collection provides the classic Greenback tone, with a controlled low-end. To open-up a little bit the tone, consider using the following eq settings :

• The preamp used is the “solid state preamp 2”
• Capture based on a Marshall™ 2*12 rear-loaded cabinet, with two Greenback 55 speakers, 16 ohms
• 2 dynamic mics, 1 ribbon mic and 1 condenser mic, 44 IR files in WAV format, downsampled to 44,1 kHz
• Using updated publication format : 24 bits / 100 ms
• 4 microphones :
  • DYN-57 : classic 57 tone, from left and right speakers
  • DYN-421 : 421 tone.
  • CND-2020 : balanced condenser tone
  • RBN-160 : ribbon 160, -LC files have low-cut engaged at capture time
• 1 preview directory : this directory features sample positions of additional mics available with the Sponsored Pack version available through BuyMeACoffee.

• Recorded with class-D amp, « Gen4 » settings
