CAB and mics
The guitar cabinet on which this collection is based on is a German front-loaded and ported 1*12 cabinet, loaded with a Mojotone™ BV30V speaker (16 ohms). The IRs in this collection are processed IRs (« -P » suffix used in the microphone name folder) : the BV30V can be quite bright in this cabinet and can become a little bit harsh, so a relatively aggressive hit-cut filter is used on processed IRs to limit this brightness. This speaker can cover a very wide range of genres and styles, from clean, bluesy, rock and metal… The overall results that you will get will greatly vary, depending on the amp or amp sim you pair with it….
