Mooer est \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sent sur le march\u00e9 des p\u00e9daliers multi-effets (avec les GE200 et GE300 notamment), des pr\u00e9amplis guitare (avec une ribambelle de mod\u00e8les), d\u2019ampli de puissance au format p\u00e9dale (Baby Bomb), etc.\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sorti en 2017, le Radar est un chargeur de r\u00e9ponse impulsionnelle&nbsp; (IR) au format p\u00e9dale. Mooer avait surpris en proposant cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 dans un format de p\u00e9dale tr\u00e8s compact, dot\u00e9 d\u2019un petit \u00e9cran couleur et pilot\u00e9 par un unique bouton poussoir rotatif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si vous \u00eates allergique \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation d\u2019un Mac ou d\u2019un PC pour jouer de la guitare ou que vous souhaitez disposer d\u2019une solution ultra transportable pour emmener vos sons partout o\u00f9 vous jouez, la p\u00e9dale Radar peut \u00eatre une excellente option.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pr\u00e9sentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La p\u00e9dale fait a peu pr\u00e8s 150g et la boite contient :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>La p\u00e9dale et le logiciel Mooer Studio for Radar 1.2.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La p\u00e9dale est munie :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>d\u2019une entr\u00e9e guitare au format jack classique (6,35)<\/li><li>d\u2019une sortie ligne au format 6,35 (470 ohms)<\/li><li>d\u2019une sortie casque au format 3,5 st\u00e9r\u00e9o (10 ohms)<\/li><li>d\u2019un connecteur d\u2019alimentation 12 volts (300 ma)<\/li><li>d\u2019un connecteur micro USB (pas de cable fourni) pour pouvoir \u00eatre reli\u00e9e \u00e0 un PC ou un Mac<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Les caract\u00e9ristiques techniques annonc\u00e9es par Mooer sont les suivantes :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-taux d\u2019\u00e9chantillonnage : 44 KHZ sur 24 bits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quence : 20 Hz \u00e0 20 KHz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-rapport signal sur bruit : 100 db<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-latence de 2ms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-taille des IRs : 23,2 ms (1024 points), le firmware 1.0 \u00e9tait limit\u00e9 \u00e0 seulement 11,6 ms (512 points)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les IRs embarqu\u00e9es peuvent \u00eatre remplac\u00e9e par des IRs tierces (via connection USB et le logiciel Mooer Studio), 36 presets (ou slots) sont ainsi disponibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sc\u00e9narios et connexions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La p\u00e9dale Radar est un chargeur de r\u00e9ponses impulsionnelles : vous allez b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d&rsquo;une simulation d&rsquo;enceinte de guitare soit pour jouer\/s&rsquo;entrainer, soit pour du live, soit pour r\u00e9aliser des enregistrements (ou les trois bien entendu !).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les copies d&rsquo;\u00e9crans ci-dessous pr\u00e9sentent les grands sc\u00e9narios de mise en oeuvre que l&rsquo;on peut imaginer : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div pratique<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Si vous connectez uniquement un casque, vous pourrez jouer ou enregistrer en silence (avec une p\u00e9dale de pr\u00e9amplificateur\/distorsion ou un ampli et une load box). Notez que l&rsquo;ampli utilis\u00e9 dans ce sc\u00e9nario exemple est un Laney Ironheart Studio : l&rsquo;une de ses caract\u00e9ristiques est d&#8217;embarquer une charge interne qui ne n\u00e9cessite pas la connexion \u00e0 une enceinte de guitare pour pouvoir l&rsquo;utiliser. Dans son cas pr\u00e9cis, l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;une load box (Two-Notes Captor en bas \u00e0 droite) est superflu et redondant. Si vous poss\u00e9dez une STAN, vous voudrez peut-\u00eatre utiliser une solution compl\u00e9mentaire comme un plugin chargeant les IRs pour enregistrer vos guitares en DI et appliquer le traitement par IR directement dans la STAN pour plus de souplesse et de possibilit\u00e9s&#8230; Mais enregistrer selon le sch\u00e9ma pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 est tout \u00e0 fait possible&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prise en main<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est facile, branchez et \u00e7a \u00ab\u00a0boote\u00a0\u00bb en 15 secondes environ. L&rsquo;\u00e9cran est tr\u00e8s lisible, lumineux et assez agr\u00e9able. Un clic pour revenir \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cran de preset<\/li><li>un clic plus long rentre dans l&rsquo;\u00e9dition des param\u00e8tres du preset<\/li><li>un clic long (3 secondes et plus) met la p\u00e9dale en bypass. Elles ont l\u2019air d\u00e9j\u00e0 trait\u00e9es sur le bas et le haut du spectre, pas d\u2019effet trop criard ou boomy globalement**. Dans le cas du Radar elles sont simples \u00e0 mettre en oeuvre et sont assez r\u00e9ussies. Cette section se r\u00e9v\u00e8le au final critique pour obtenir de meilleures sonorit\u00e9s avec le Radar et les IRs fournies. Enfin, cette section permet \u00e9galement d&rsquo;ajuster les niveaux d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e et de sortie vers la section suivante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Egalisation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Trois \u00e9galiseurs sont disponibles. On peut activer soit : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>l\u2018\u00e9galiseur graphique guitare (5 bandes)<\/li><li>l\u2019\u00e9galiseur graphique basse (5 bandes)<\/li><li>l\u2019\u00e9galiseur param\u00e9trique (4 bandes)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On peut aussi mettre la section \u00e9galisation \u00e0 off, tout comme le power amp d&rsquo;ailleurs.<br>Vous pouvez modifier la fr\u00e9quence de la bande d&rsquo;\u00e9galisation et ajouter ou retrancher 15 DB. Sur l&rsquo;\u00e9galiseur param\u00e9trique, vous pouvez modifier le facteur Q.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, deux filtres sont de la partie, ce qui est tr\u00e8s bien : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>HP : un HPF , qui peut \u00eatre soit \u00e9teint soit positionn\u00e9 entre 0 et 500 HZ<\/li><li>LP : un LPF, qui peut \u00eatre soit \u00e9teint soit positionn\u00e9 entre 20 KHZ et 3 KHZ<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La pente n&rsquo;est pas pr\u00e9cis\u00e9e dans la documentation de Mooer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quelques exemples avec les IRs livr\u00e9es<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Correction 9 Avril 2020 : en r\u00e9\u00e9coutant les premiers exemples r\u00e9alis\u00e9s avec la p\u00e9dale, je me suis aper\u00e7u que mes enregistrements n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas correctement r\u00e9alis\u00e9s. De base, quelques IRs exploitables par les m\u00e9talleux et autres rockers, d&rsquo;assez bonne facture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelques points \u00e0 noter :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mooer ne fournit pas d\u2019information ou de logiciel pour cr\u00e9er des IRs \u00e0 son format (ou alors je ne l&rsquo;ai pas trouv\u00e9) : seules des IRs classiques peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es. Une IR custom brule alors un slot qui correspond en fait \u00e0 plus de 11 IRs diff\u00e9rentes dans le format interne (11 micros + positions et distance), c\u2019est dommage : pouvoir utiliser le format interne permettrait de mieux tirer parti des emplacements.<\/li><li>Pas de boutique d\u2019IRs Mooer \u00e0 ma connaissance, pas d\u2019IRs 3rd party au format Mooer.<\/li><li>Pas de r\u00e9glage de volume associ\u00e9 au preset : c\u2019est dommage, les volumes peuvent changer fortement d\u2019un preset \u00e0 l\u2019autre (d\u2019une IR \u00e0 l\u2019autre, d&rsquo;un micro \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre), attention \u00e0 vos oreilles si vous jouez au casque. Vous devrez ajuster le master ou bien avoir scrupuleusement r\u00e9gl\u00e9 le niveau de vos presets auparavant (en ajustant le niveau du power amp ou le mic level des IRs fournies)<\/li><li>Un vu-m\u00e8tre in\/out du signal serait un plus car on est oblig\u00e9 de r\u00e9gler \u00e0 l&rsquo;oreille.  L\u2019\u00e9cran affiche tout de m\u00eame un symbole en cas de saturation de la sortie (que vous entendrez, de toute mani\u00e8re !)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le logiciel Mooer Studio fait le job mais il demeure assez rudimentaire, la GUI fait le minimum et son ergonomie demeure perfectible.
