M+ : revue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Two-Notes Audio Engineering a mis \u00e0 disposition une mise \u00e0 jour majeure du firmware de sa p\u00e9dale CAB M en Juin 2020, rebaptisant au passage le CAB M en CAB M+. Ils ont \u00e9galement repositionn\u00e9 le CAB M+ un peu plus vers les utilisateurs de p\u00e9dales d\u2019effets (versus les utilisateurs d\u2019amplis \u00e0 lampes qui seront peut-\u00eatre plus enclins \u00e0 se pencher vers les offres Captor&nbsp; qui embarquent une section load-box, ce que n\u2019offre pas la p\u00e9dale CAB M). Cette mise \u00e0 jour de la p\u00e9dale am\u00e8ne un lot de nouveaut\u00e9s tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressantes et -bien entendu- les applications de pilotage par mobile et PC\/Mac ont \u00e9t\u00e9 relift\u00e9es. Cet article se propose donc de compl\u00e9ter la revue du CAB M (<a href=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/index.php\/fr\/2020\/03\/08\/two-notes-torpedo-c-a-b-m-revue\/\">https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/index.php\/fr\/2020\/03\/08\/two-notes-torpedo-c-a-b-m-revue\/<\/a>) en pr\u00e9sentant les nouveaut\u00e9s de ce M+ un peu plus en d\u00e9tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Appliquer la mise \u00e0 jour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle s\u2019effectue simplement via le logiciel Torpedo Remote : il suffit de mettre \u00e0 jour le Torpedo Remote lui-m\u00eame et d\u2019appliquer l\u2019update du firmware :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principales nouveaut\u00e9s sont les suivantes :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>l&rsquo;ajout d\u2019un pr\u00e9amplificateur clean<\/li><li>l&rsquo;ajout d\u2019un noise gate<\/li><li>l&rsquo;ajout d\u2019un un module enhancer<\/li><li>l&rsquo;ajout d\u2019une fonction tuner<\/li><li>de nouvelles r\u00e9verbs : mode ambiance, 4 nouvelles pi\u00e8ces<\/li><li>un controle de bypass sur chacun des deux micros<\/li><li>le choix de la qualit\u00e9 des IRs (et de la latence r\u00e9sultante)<\/li><li>le reset des param\u00e8tres d\u2019un preset par double-click du bouton Volume\/Value<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Une fois \u00e0 jour, le nouvel \u00e9cran du Torpedo Remote ressemble \u00e0 ceci :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1022\" height=\"839\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/cabmplus_torpedoremote_mainscreen.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4054\" srcset=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/cabmplus_torpedoremote_mainscreen.png 1022w, https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/cabmplus_torpedoremote_mainscreen-300x246.png 300w, https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/cabmplus_torpedoremote_mainscreen-768x630.png 768w, https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/cabmplus_torpedoremote_mainscreen-600x493.png 600w, https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/cabmplus_torpedoremote_mainscreen-945x776.png 945w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1022px) 100vw, 1022px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le preamp clean<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce n\u2019est pas trop mon rayon, mais saluons sa pr\u00e9sence : mod\u00e9lis\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d\u2019un SilverFace de 1974 il permet de disposer d\u2019une solution quasi autonome en embarquant une fonction pr\u00e9amplificateur. Branchez votre guitare directement dans le CAB M+ et s\u00e9lectionnez l\u2019entr\u00e9e avec la plus haute sensibilit\u00e9 : vous obtenez des sons clairs assez convaincant que vous pouvez sculpter avec 4 r\u00e9glages : gain, basse, m\u00e9dium et aigus. Vous pouvez bien entendu conserver vos boost, EQs et autres p\u00e9dales en amont et activer ou non ce pr\u00e9amplificateur int\u00e9gr\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Noise gate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Simple et efficace : deux modes (soft \/ hard) et un r\u00e9glage de seuil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le module enhancer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est pour moi l\u2019ajout le plus int\u00e9ressant et le plus spectaculaire du CAB M+ : il ressemble \u00e0 l\u2019exciter de Wall of Sound avec 3 r\u00e9glages : Thickness (bas du spectre : centr\u00e9 \u00e0 400 Hz), Brillance (haut du spectre, centr\u00e9 \u00e0 1500 Hz) et Body (c\u2019est une combinaison de compresseur et de HPF, qui travaille \u00e0 partir des bas-mediums). Thickness et Body travaillent sur une plage de 0 (effet \u00e0 z\u00e9ro) \u00e0 +15 dB (effet au maximum). La possibilit\u00e9 de doser globalement la pr\u00e9sence de l\u2019effet grace au contr\u00f4le Dry\/Wet est tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressante. L\u2019enhancer peut vous permettre de sculpter vos sons tr\u00e8s rapidement et tr\u00e8s facilement, avec des r\u00e9sultats assez spectaculaires. Gonflez vos CABs et vos IRs avec l\u2019enhancer !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le tuner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un petit ajout bienvenu ! Il est assez pr\u00e9cis et assez rapide. Activ\u00e9 via la petite ic\u00f4ne sur le Torpedo Remote (raccourci \u00ab&nbsp;T&nbsp;\u00bb comme Tuner) ou clic long sur le bouton de droite (volume), il permet de couper le son ou non lors de l\u2019accordage. Les informations s\u2019affichent sur l\u2019application Torpedo Remote et \u00e9galement sur l\u2019afficheur de la p\u00e9dale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image-7-300x288.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image-9-225x300.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nouvelles reverberations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>4 nouvelles reverberation d\u2019ambiance ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9es. Le CAB M+ offre la capacit\u00e9 de choisir entre des r\u00e9verb\u00e9rations assez riches et claires (donc assez pr\u00e9sentes), \u00e0 des r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration plus subtiles et plus sombres (ambiance).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Controle de bypass<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un bouton \u00ab&nbsp;B&nbsp;\u00bb a fait son apparition : il permet de d\u00e9brayer le traitement du CAB ou de l\u2019IR, pour chaque canal (A et B) :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/cabmplus_bypass2.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Controle de la performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les IRs tierces, le niveau de performance du CAB M+ peut \u00eatre param\u00e9tr\u00e9 : de 1,2 ms pour des IR de 20 ms \u00e0 4,8 ms pour des IRs de 200 ms (latence de bout en bout).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/overdriven.fr\/overdriven\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/cabmplus_perfsetting.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Torpedo Remote : mise \u00e0 jour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les applications ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 lift\u00e9es.
