These riffs and songs remain the property of their copyright owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cab and Mics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The cab used is a Rect 1*12 loaded with its original V30. This cab is a small 1*12 but it has a very interesting tonal balance. While it is a little bit trebly like many small cabs, its clarity is very interesting when paired with fat amps (Dual Rect) and \/ or when using downtuned guitars (D, C, B, A). It stills has a good low-end and a very interesting middle range. Lots of bite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The 6L6 power amp used for IR capture tend to scoop a little bit the 250-700\/800 HZ area : if you raise it by 1 to 2 DB, you may get closer to the actual sound of this speaker (ie under WOS 360 HZ + 1 or 2 DB, 800 HZ +1 or 2 DB)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the IRs are recorded with a tube preamp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cap edge and related positions  (p09 &#8211; 10 &#8211; 12) present the most balanced tone for me. P15-20 have a tunnel\/mud effect : they may be interesting in some mixing conditions, but I dont&rsquo;t use them when practicing with the guitar alone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remarks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Overdriven.fr is not affiliated with the brands mentioned on this page.
